FINAL ANALYSIS

Notre Dame has a chance to be in the league’s top division, but the frontcourt must produce. Most basketball experts believe they will finish in the bottom half of the conference, but coach Brey has been here before. Several times over his career Notre Dame has been picked to finish in the bottom half of the conference only to surprise everyone. On paper it appears the Fighting Irish lost too much talent to make a serious run this season, but Brey has a way of coaxing his players into believing they can make it to the postseason. This team can score now, the question is can they defend.
