ROSEMONT, Ill. — The Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament will have a new home for the 2017 season, with the semifinals and championship game scheduled for Nov. 3 and 5 at Grand Park in Westfield, Indiana, the conference announced Thursday.

This year’s Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament quarterfinal games are slated for Oct. 29 and, as was the case during the past two seasons, the quarterfinals will be played on the campus of the higher-seeded school. Ticket prices, kickoff times and television coverage for all Big Ten Women’s Soccer Tournament games will be announced at a later date.

This will mark the second time since the debut of Big Ten women’s soccer in 1994 that the conference tournament will be played off campus. In 1997, the event was held at the National Sports Center in Blaine, Minnesota, with Michigan defeating Northwestern in the title game, 1-0 in overtime.

Thursday’s announcement means both Big Ten soccer tournaments will be held at Grand Park for the 2017 season, with this year’s men’s semifinals and championship game set for Nov. 10 and 12. Last year, the Big Ten Men’s Soccer Tournament semifinals and championship game were played at the facility for the first time, with Maryland earning a 2-1 victory over Wisconsin in the final.
