BUTLER RELEASE

Butler's 18 BIG EAST games, along with tip times and television assignments, have
been announced by the BIG EAST. The announcement from the Conference office was made
Thursday, Sept. 13.

The Bulldogs' schedule features at least three match-ups on network television as
CBS will air the Crossroads Classic game with Indiana on Dec. 15, while FOX will
carry the Jan. 19 home game against St. John's as well as Butler's road game at
Villanova March 2.

Including non-conference games (which also had game times and television assignments
announced today), Butler will have at least 14 regular season games on FS1 and three
others on CBS Sports Network.

Butler opens the BIG EAST schedule Wednesday, Jan. 2 at home, hosting Georgetown.
Butler's home portion of the BIG EAST schedule includes four Saturday contests and a
Senior Night match-up with Xavier on Tuesday, March 5. The regular season concludes
on Saturday, March 9, with a tripleheader of Wildcard games on FOX and two games on
other FOX platforms. Butler tips at Providence at Noon that day.

Butler's game at Florida Saturday, Dec. 29 will air on ESPNU. The tip time has yet
to be announced, but will be in the afternoon. The Bulldogs' game at St. Louis
Saturday, Dec. 1 will have the tip time and television assignment announced in the
coming weeks.

Season tickets for Butler's 2018-19 campaign are currently on sale. Four-game
mini-plans availability and on-sale dates will be announced in the coming days.
Single-game tickets will go on sale to the general public on Monday, Oct. 1 at 10
a.m. Fans interested in purchasing season tickets can contact the Butler Athletics
Ticket Office at (317) 940-DOGS or tickets@butler.edu<mailto:tickets@butler.edu>.

The BIG EAST will have more over-the-air national telecasts than any conference.
The exposure on the FOX broadcast network includes at least 17 games in the regular
season, all on weekends. The league's continuing double round-robin competition
culminates with FOX Sports complete coverage of the BIG EAST Tournament played at
Madison Square Garden.

FOX and FS1 again will serve as the television home of the BIG EAST Tournament at
Madison Square Garden on March 13-16. The World's Most Famous Arena will host the
tourney for the 37th consecutive year. The event is college basketball's longest
running postseason conference tourney held at the same venue. The FOX broadcast
network will carry the championship game at 6:30 p.m. ET on Saturday, March 16. All
other rounds will be telecast on FS1.

Last season, six of the 10 BIG EAST schools - Butler, Creighton, Providence, Seton
Hall, Villanova and Xavier - earned NCAA Championship bids and Marquette played in
the NIT. Over the first five years of the 10-team BIG EAST, the league has earned
28 NCAA Tournament invitations.

BIG EAST basketball during the 2018-19 season will also be seen on the BIG EAST
Digital Network. BEDN has its own branded channel within the FOX Sports App. The
FOX Sports App provides live streaming video of FOX Sports content at home or
on-the-go. FOX Sports App users who are also subscribers of participating video
providers can live stream men's basketball telecasts carried on the FOX broadcast
network, FS1, FS2, and the FOX Sports Regional Networks.

CBS Sports' coverage will be available to stream live via the CBS All Access
subscription service, with additional coverage on CBSSports.com and the CBS Sports
app.

The Bulldogs recently earned their fourth consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance.
Butler is one of only eight programs nationally to win at least one NCAA Tournament
game in each of the last four seasons. The Bulldogs concluded the 2017-18 season
with a 21-14 record under first-year Butler coach LaVall Jordan.
