Butler’s 2021-22 men’s basketball non-conference schedule continues to take shape. The Bulldogs will host Central Arkansas and Troy at Hinkle Fieldhouse.

The Bulldogs and Central Arkansas will tip Friday, Nov. 12, and Butler’s match-up with Troy will be the following day, Saturday, Nov. 13. Game times and television network assignments will be announced at a later date.

The back-to-back contests will be similar to the schedule Butler will encounter at the 2021 Maui Invitational later in the month of November (consecutive games Nov. 22-24).

Butler fans will have a number of opportunities to watch their Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse early in the season as the team’s first six games of the season (leading into the 2021 Maui Invitational) will be at home. Those six contests include two exhibitions, the regular season opener against IUPUI, and the Gavitt Tip-Off Games match-up against Michigan State, in addition to the contests against Central Arkansas and Troy.

Season tickets for the upcoming 2021-22 Butler men’s basketball season are on sale now. Additional non-conference games will be announced in the coming weeks. Butler will also host all 10 BIG EAST opponents as part of its home schedule.

Butler and Central Arkansas have played only once previously, an 82-58 win by the Bulldogs at Hinkle Fieldhouse on Dec. 3, 2016. This will be the first meeting between the Bulldogs and Troy.

Coach LaVall Jordan enters his fifth season guiding the Butler program. The Bulldogs return 10 of their top 11 scorers from a season ago.
