Union City traveled to Knightstown on Monday to face the Panthers in a
conference showdown. The Indians couldn't recover from a bad first inning,
where they gave up 4 runs. Knightstown came out on top, 10 - 7.

Trevor Spence, (Sr), started on the mound for UC, pitching 3 1/3 innings,
giving up 6 earned runs on 10 hits.  Junior southpaw, Cam Luster, came on
to finish out the game for the Indians, going 2 2/3 innings and not
allowing any earned runs on 2 hits.

Union City's offense was led by Zach Bradbury, (Sr), who had 3 hits on the
day, adding 2 runs, 2 RBI's, and a stolen base. Spence also had a good
night at the plate, picking up 2 hits of his own and stealing 2 bases.
Dawson Thornburg, (Sr), Kyler Purdin, (Sr), Jacob Fulk, (Sr), and Jacob
Curry each added a hit for Union City.

The Indians move to 12 - 5 on the season, and 5 - 2 in the TEC conference.
Union City will travel to Richmond on Tuesday to face Seton Catholic at
historic McBride Stadium.
