PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Indiana University East men's basketball team matched the
longest winning streak in the program's NAIA history with a 122-85 victory against
Point Park University on Jan. 9 at CCAC-Allegheny.
NAIA Division II No. 3 IU East (17-2, 6-0), which earlier in the day was named the
National Association of Basketball Coaches (NABC) NAIA Team of the Week, won its
11th game in a row. Point Park (4-12, 1-6) has lost its last five.
Keating Rombach led IU East with a season-high 20 points. Kendall Rollins added 18,
also a season-best, and had a team-high eight rebounds as the Red Wolves enjoyed a
48-26 rebounding advantage.
Daniel King led Point Park with 28 points.
IU East goes for its 12th win in a row when it hosts Carlow University on Jan. 13 on
Lingle Court. Tipoff is scheduled for 1 p.m. in the opening game of a women's-men's
River States Conference doubleheader.

WOMEN
PITTSBURGH, Pa. - The Indiana University East women's basketball team rode a
sizzling start to a 96-78 River States Conference win against Point Park University
on Jan. 9 at CCAC-Allegheny.
NAIA Division II No. 27 IU East (12-7, 4-2) won its third game in a row. Point Park
is 9-8 overall and 4-3 in the conference.
Reigning River States Conference Player of the Week Tia King led IU East with 23 points
Libby Springmier (18 points) and Sybil Roseboro (14 points) both posted season-bests
in scoring. Springmier scored eight of her points in the final quarter. Roseboro
tallied six points in the opening period.
Maryssa Agurs scored 17 points for Point Park.
IU East hosts Carlow University on Jan. 13 on Lingle Court. Tipoff is scheduled for
1 p.m. in the opening game of a women's-men's River States Conference doubleheader.
