AVON, Ohio – On Monday, the Crossroads League awarded No. 13 Marian men’s basketball’s sophomore Christian Harvey with his first-career Player of the Week honor for his role during the Knights’ Crossroads League Tournament Championship victory.

Harvey had a lights-out performance Tuesday night against No. 24 St. Francis (Ind.), scoring 17 points, pulling down seven rebounds, and nabbing one steal. The sophomore shot 5-6 from the floor and hit both of his shots from 3-point range. Marian took home the Crossroads League championship with a convincing 86-71 victory over the Cougars.

The Knights look to carry their 13-game win streak into the NAIA National Tournament as they head into their bracket as the top-seed and take on the winner of Indiana Tech and Olivet Nazarene Saturday at 4 p.m. in Marion, Ind.
