The Northeastern Lady Knights defeated the Daleville Broncos 65-40. The team came out on fire hitting four 3-pointers and scoring 25 points in the first quarter. It was the defensive intensity of the Knights that created offensive opportunities. The team capitalized on those opportunities and played good team basketball. Jenna McFarland had her career high (on her birthday) leading the scoring effort with 27 points, followed by Kasey Andrews with 13 points, Emma Wright contributed 10 points, Madi Clay scored 9 points, Kelli Drake had 4 points, and Willow Runyon chipped in 2 points. The next game for the Lady Knights will be at home Saturday, December 9th. It will be a Varsity only game against Seton at 1:30.
