WEST LAFAYETTE, Ind. - The final non-conference piece of the Purdue men's basketball
schedule was finalized today as ESPN announced that the Boilermakers will travel to
Florida State for the ACC / Big Ten Challenge on Wednesday, Nov. 28.

Television assignments for the Challenge games will come at a later date.

The announcement completes the Boilermakers' non-conference slate which now features
games against Texas, Florida State and Notre Dame and possible contests with
Virginia Tech, Alabama, Wichita State or Davidson in the Charleston Classic. Florida
State and Virginia Tech are both ranked in the nation's top 20 in current preseason
polls, while Texas and Notre Dame are expected to be improved from last season.

Purdue's non-conference schedule only features 11 games as it was announced earlier
this year that the Big Ten would start playing a 20-game schedule for the 2018-19
season and beyond.

Florida State posted a 23-12 overall record and reached last year's Elite Eight
before falling to Michigan 58-54 for a spot in the Final Four. The Seminoles were
9-9 in the ACC and return three starters and seven of their top nine scorers from
last year, including their two leading scorers in Phil Cofer (6-8 forward; 12.8 PPG,
5.1 RPG) and Terance Mann (6-6 guard; 12.6 PPG, 5.4 RPG).
