New Castle senior Luke Bumbalough became only the sixth player in Trojan basketball history to score 50 or more points in a game when he poured in 51 at Mt. Vernon (Fortville) last Friday night. Bumbalough now stands eighth on the all-time New Castle boys basketball career scoring list with 1,221 points, 33 fewer than teammate Mason Gillis who is seventh.

 

NOTE: Forward Mason Gillis was hurt this past summer after being named a Junior All-Star last season. Gillis averaged 21.6ppg, 12.2rpg and has committed to play at Purdue next season.
