Game 1

Seton Catholic Cardinals win their home opener conference game on
Saturday. Taylor Haager threw a complete game shutout leading Seton to an
11-0 victory. Paige Klaine led the Cardinals going 2 for 3 with a single,
a double, and 4 RBI's. Haager, Cassidy Frame, Clare Kitchin, and Evelynn
Aleman all contributed with base hits and RBI's. Haager was credited with
the victory for Seton. She went five innings, allowing zero runs on two
hits, striking out eight.

 

Game 2

Grace Deitsch's walk off single gives the Seton Catholic Cardinals the 5-4
victory in the 2nd game of their double header on Saturday. The game was
tied at four with Seton batting in the bottom of the seventh when Paige
Klaine doubled to lead the inning. Grace Deitsch followed with a game
winning walk off single on a 1-1 count, scoring Klaine. Klaine started the
game for Seton going six innings, allowing four runs on two hits, striking
out seven. Taylor Haager took the win going one inning in relief, allowing
zero runs on zero hits, striking out two. Haager went 3-for-4 at the plate
and 2 RBI's to lead Cardinals in hits, with Klaine, Cassidy Frame, and
Deitsch all having a hit apiece.
