PALM BEACH GARDENS, Fla. - Indiana University East junior Bre Nowak made the cut for
the final two rounds at the NAIA Women's Golf National Championship.
Nowak shot 77 for the second day in a row in the second round May 23 and is in 12th
place in the 157-player national tournament field. The top 40 individuals, along
with players from the top 17 teams, qualified for the final two rounds of the
72-hole event at the par 72, 5,847 Champion Course at PGA National.
Maria Paula Otero from SCAD Savannah is the individual leader with a 36-hole score
of 148. Nowak is six shots back with a 154.
Nowak will start the third round from No. 1 at 8:45 a.m. on May 24. She is in a
group made up of the top three players who made the cut as individuals.
