TERRE HAUTE, Ind. – The Indiana State baseball team earned an at-large berth to the 2021 NCAA Tournament as the No. 3 seed in the NCAA Nashville Regional hosted by the No. 4 overall seed Vanderbilt Commodores. The Sycamores open postseason play on Friday, June 4 at 1 p.m. ET against No. 2 seed Georgia Tech.

Indiana State earned its 11th NCAA postseason appearance in program history and the third under head coach Mitch Hannahs. The Sycamores head to Nashville with an overall record of 30-19 reaching Championship Sunday at the 2021 Missouri Valley Conference Championships.

The Commodores (40-15) are hosting the for the eighth time in program history and will have the opportunity to host the super regional round should they advance. The NCAA Nashville Regional is paired with the Greenville Regional, hosted by East Carolina.

Each regional field features four teams, playing in a double-elimination format. All 16 regionals are scheduled to be conducted from Friday, June 4 to Monday, June 7 (if necessary).

A small number of outfield tickets remain available for Regionals. Outfield all-session tickets are $70 and individual game tickets are $10.

Tickets are on sale now and may be purchased via vucommodores.com or by calling the Vanderbilt Athletics ticket office at 615-322-4653 during business hours beginning Tuesday, June 1.

Indiana State will have an allotment of tickets available via the Hulman Center Ticket Office as well. Details will become available as soon as possible.

Fan Fest activities for the Regional games are planned for outside of Hawkins Field on Jess Neely Drive. A game ticket is not required to participate in Fan Fest.

Each game of the regional will be streamed via the WatchESPN app. The Sycamore Radio Network will also carry each Indiana State game locally in the Wabash Valley on 97.9 FM and 1230 AM WIBQ and worldwide free-of-charge on GoSycamores.com.
